PlowzBox · Quotes & billing
Get paid without the awkward part.
Quotes that go out the same evening as good-better-best options your customer can tap to accept. Invoices that keep score of who owes what. And the uncomfortable payment nudge, drafted for you and sent on rules you set.
Plain talk: PlowzBox is not a payment processor. Deposits and payments run through your own Stripe account and your own pay link, and it never tells anyone money moved when it hasn't.
Quotes
Tonight's quote backlog, out by dinner.
The quote is drafted the moment the request comes in. Your evening job is one tap, not one hour at the kitchen table.
-
Priced from your price book, by the lot
The assistant builds the quote from your prices, not its imagination. Set your rate per lot-size band and “about an acre” gets your price for an acre; an unknown lawn can be measured by drawing it on a satellite map. If the work isn't in the book, it asks you instead of guessing.
-
Good, better, best. Tap to accept.
The quote can go out as up to three options, and the customer accepts with a tap. If you take deposits, the deposit is collected through your own Stripe account. You approve the quote from the truck the same evening, while the customer is still deciding.
-
Follow-up that doesn't forget
If a quote goes quiet, the assistant drafts a polite check-in so the job doesn't die of silence. You approve each follow-up before it sends.
of quotes are won by the fastest responders. Speed wins the work, and a drafted quote is faster than a remembered one.
Jobber, 350,000 field-service businessesInvoices & AR aging
Who owes what, at a glance.
The job record becomes the invoice, and the invoices become one honest board of what's outstanding.
From job to invoice, no retyping
When a job wraps, the invoice comes from the same record: customer, service, price from the book. Send it by text or email with your pay link attached.
Current, 30, 60, 90+
One board shows every unpaid invoice by age, oldest money first. You stop discovering in October that June never paid.
Paid means you said so
When money lands, you mark the invoice paid and the board updates. The box never guesses about money and never marks a payment it can't see.
Payment reminders
It drafts the nudge. You send it.
Chasing money from good customers is the worst chore in the business. The assistant writes the firm, polite version so you don't have to find the words. You just decide whether today's the day.
- The reminder is drafted with the invoice and your pay link included, and it waits in your queue.
- Reminders can run on a cadence you set, 14 days, 30 days, your call. You decide which send on their own and which wait for your one-tap approval.
- The tone is yours to edit. Firm, friendly, or “third notice” formal.
Invoice #241 · 32 days outstanding
Draft · waiting for your approval Hi Dana, hope the yard's treating you well. Just a friendly reminder that invoice #241 for the spring cleanup is still open. You can pay here whenever it's convenient: [your pay link]
Approve each reminder yourself, or set the cadence and let them run. The dial is yours.
Job costing & the books
Know what the job made, not just what it billed.
Revenue is the easy number. The box also keeps the ones that decide whether the season was worth it.
Margin, per job
Costs recorded against a job sit next to what it billed, so you see the margin on the work, not just the revenue. Next season's price book gets built on what jobs actually cost instead of a guess.
Your books, without retyping
Two honest paths: a free CSV export that imports into QuickBooks, or connect your own QuickBooks account and sync. Either way, what you invoiced is what your accountant sees.
A page your customers can check
Customers get their own portal, their jobs and invoices in one place, so “can you resend that invoice?” becomes a link instead of a chore. It runs from the box, like everything else.
Straight talk about money
Three things this page will not oversell.
Not a payment processor
PlowzBox does not hold, move, or touch money. Deposits and payments run through your own Stripe account, your processor, your terms, your payout. Your money never routes through our box.
Never claims money moved
The assistant never tells a customer a payment went through, and never tells you one did, unless you recorded it. No wishful bookkeeping.
Reminders follow your rules
Payment reminders run on the cadence you set, and you choose which send on their own and which wait for your one-tap approval. The dial is yours, and you can tighten it to “everything waits” any time.
